This handy tabletop tool can be used to format small mineral specimens and the Micro-Mounts. Due to the very fine pitch of the threaded spindle, most pieces break very precisely and softly, so that major shocks do not occur. The chisels are made of HSS and can be re-sharpened. The black parts are powder-coated, the guide rods are made of stainless steel, the threaded spindle is galvanised.
